Certified Quality Systems
Operations are supported by structured quality frameworks aligned with ISO 9001 standards, helping ensure consistent documentation, traceability and process control across projects.
Pre-Manufacture Quality Planning
Before production begins, components undergo structured review to confirm manufacturability and identify potential risks. Tools such as APQP, FMEA and historical statistical analysis help assess dimensional capability and process suitability.
In-Process Measurement & Control
During production, parts are monitored using Statistical Process Control and process-specific measurement methods. This helps maintain repeatability and supports early identification of potential deviations.
Post-Manufacture Inspection & Reporting
Finished components are inspected and documented using Initial Sample Inspection Reports or Production Inspection Reports where required. Measurement equipment includes CMM systems, optical inspection tools and magnet-specific testing equipment.
Material Verification & Testing
Where required, material composition and performance testing can be supported through certified UK test houses, including tensile strength, hardness, impact and compositional analysis.
Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement
Structured quarantine procedures, non-conformance reporting and 8D corrective action processes help identify root causes and prevent recurrence, supporting ongoing improvement across manufacturing programmes.
Measurement & Inspection Capability
Inspection methods are selected depending on component geometry, tolerances and application requirements. Typical equipment and measurement processes include:
- Manual and automated CMM measurement
- Gauss meters, permeameters and Helmholtz coils for magnetic testing
- Surface roughness and plating depth measurement
- Thread gauges and optical inspection systems
