Mechanical Assembly and Magnet Integration for Production Components
GUK Magnetics supports the assembly and integration of magnets and engineered components into production-ready subassemblies. Working from customer drawings, specifications or existing components, we combine manufactured parts into functional units ready for installation or onward manufacture.
Assembly is often the final stage of production, bringing together magnets, metal components and moulded parts into a single, consistent assembly. By integrating manufacturing and assembly processes, handling steps can be reduced and supply chains simplified.
Magnet Integration
Integration of permanent magnets into plastic or metal housings, including bonded assemblies and multi-component magnetic subassemblies supplied ready for installation.
Insert & Overmoulded Assemblies
Combination of moulded polymers with metal or magnetic components through insert moulding or overmoulding to create integrated functional parts.
Mechanical Assembly
Fastening and alignment of multi-part components using mechanical methods such as press-fit assembly, fixtures or controlled mechanical joining.
Adhesive Bonding & Magnet Gluing
Use of specialist bonding processes to secure magnets and engineered components where mechanical fastening is unsuitable or geometry is restricted.
Plastic Welding & Heat Staking
Ultrasonic welding and heat staking processes used to secure plastic components and create consistent, repeatable assemblies at production scale.
Metal Joining & Post-Processing
Brazing, welding and secondary machining incorporated where required to achieve final dimensional accuracy or structural performance.
Manufacturing Integration
Assembly is closely linked with the manufacturing processes used to produce individual components. Integration may sit alongside:
- Injection moulding and polymer engineering
- Pressed and die cast components
- CNC machining and post-processing
- Plastic-bonded and sintered magnet manufacture
This allows components to move efficiently from production through to final assembly while maintaining consistency across batches.
